Healthy Families

...to improve the health and quality of life of the people and communities we serve.

Objectives:

· Decrease the number of teen births in Logan County by 10% .

· Increase educational opportunities to families by 5%, in order to address teen pregnancy, child abuse and neglect.

Activities of the Healthy Families Task Force:

· Provide monthly home visits to teen parents, sharing child development information and providing parent support.

· Distribute new parent bags to the ALMH Family Maternity Suites

· Provide resources and equipment to the "Baby Think It Over Program"
