Objectives:
· Decrease the number of Logan County DUIs by 10%, through the “Safe Ride” Program
· Increase the number of participants enrolled in the “Tobacco Patch” program by 10%
· Increase number of individuals who participate in ATOD prevention/abuse activities by 10%
The ATOD Task Force partners with the Lincoln Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office to enforce the following violations: · Alcohol consumption and possession by minors under the age of 21 · Tobacco product possession by minors under the age of 18 · Vendors selling alcohol to a minors under the age of 21 · Vendors selling tobacco products to minors under the age of 18
The ATOD Task Force is working, in conjunction with Logan County TOUCH (Teaching Others Using Chemicals Hurts) to prevent initial drug and alcohol use through the following educational program: · Botvin’s Life Skills program for 7th grade students throughout the county.
